FCC certification

Your access to the US market can be arranged via FCC certification.

The FCC is an independent government agency of the United States, responsible directly to Congress. It is established by the Communications Act of 1934 and is charged with regulating interstate and international communications by radio, television, wire, satellite and cable.

In order to gain access to the United States market for a device (or module) with radio technologies, each manufacturer must obtain FCC certification for the respective device. With FCC certification is meant certification in accordance with the requirements of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), which in other words means market approval of devices with radio technologies in the USA.

An FCC certification can also be seen as the basis for market approval in many countries around the world. That is because the associated FCC test scope covers a wide range of local requirements in many other countries. These include for example Mexico, Chile and Argentina.
