What should be put on the label of the product?
For each market different rules exist on what to put on the label. For example for the EU, the CE Marking must be affixed by the manufacturer or his authorised representative. The address of the manufacturer or his authorised representative should also bet there if there is enough place for it. Else it should be on the packaging or manual.
The CE Marking must be visibly, clearly readable and indelibly affixed to the product or type plate.
If a Notified Body, in conformity with the applying Directives, is involved in the production control phase, then the CE Marking should be followed by the identification number of that Body.
For other markets exist other rules what should be put on the label. Please contact us for more information on what to put on the label of your device.
