What is the difference between UKCA and CE marking?

Currently, there is not much difference. The only difference between the UKCA and the CE marking is to which market they pertain. The UKCA marking applies exclusively to products sold on to the UK market, and the CE marking applies only to the products sold on the European market. So although there is not much difference, it is however important to know that this can change in the future. If one of the markets alters their product requirements, it will not mean that the other market will adopt those changes. If you want to sell your product on both markets, you will need both markings.
