Is the CE logo required on the packaging?

The CE logo is generally not required on the packaging, as it must instead be placed directly on the product itself. However, it is allowed or required on the packaging only when it is not possible to put it on the item due to its size or nature, or on accompanying documents.

General Rules for Placement:

• Primary location: Must be on the product or its data plate.
• Packaging exception: Used only if putting it on the product is technically impossible or unviable.
• Visibility: Must remain visible, legible, and measure at least 5 mm tall
