Japan certification is mandatory for all Bluetooth products. This certification is known as MIC certification, TELEC certification, or Giteki certification. Any device that uses radio frequencies and is sold or used in Japan must follow Japan’s Radio Law.
Key Requirements:

- Testing Process: Devices must be tested by an approved laboratory to check radio frequency, power, and bandwidth limits.
- Local Representative: Foreign makers must name a legal representative who lives and has a business address in Japan.
